BUCKS COUNTY - Habitat Young Leaders and Professionals (HYLP) will host its Spring ‘Pub Night’ on June 4th at 6:00 PM at Continental Tavern in Yardley.

HYLP encourages anyone interested in joining the organization or supporting Habitat for Humanity of Bucks County to attend. Twenty-percent of all proceeds from food and drink purchased during the event will be donated directly to Habitat for Humanity of Bucks County. HYLP will also be holding a raffle, and 100% of all proceeds will be donated.

HYLP is a networking and service group for young professionals within Habitat for Humanity of Bucks County. In addition to organizing volunteer opportunities, the group hosts networking events that encourage its members to connect with peers, businesses and organizations in Bucks County with the purpose of expanding member networks and growing careers.

HYLP supports the mission of Habitat for Humanity of Bucks County: to build affordable homes, better lives, stronger families, and safer revitalized communities through partnerships with people and organizations throughout Bucks County. Since its founding in 1990, Habitat Bucks has built 100 affordable homes in Bucks County and has recently broken ground on home no. 101.

Habitat’s ‘A Brush with Kindness’ program assists low-income homeowners with needed exterior repairs, helping them to remain safely in their homes.

The Habitat of Bucks County ReStore sells donated household items and building materials at affordable prices, keeping useful items out of our landfills.
