29th Annual High School Art Exhibition and PA 1st Congressional District Art Competition
March 29 - April 14, 2024
High school art teachers select their students’ best work for display and for submission to the U.S. Congressional Art Competition. Competitions such as this are held in every congressional district nationwide each spring. The first-place winning artwork from this exhibition will be sent to Washington, D.C., where it will represent Pennsylvania’s 1st Congressional District and be displayed in the corridors of the Cannon Tunnel of the U.S. Capitol for a year.
Category prizes selected by Charles Browning, Professor of Art, University of the Arts
Free and open to the public.

Hicks Art Center Gallery provides a varied series of curated art exhibitions and related programming in support of the Arts & Communication Department and as an important educational and cultural resource for the community.
Exhibitions and related programming are free and open to the public unless otherwise indicated. The Gallery is located in Hicks Art Center on the Newtown campus, the locus of the College's Department.
