VACATION, ALL I EVER WANTED...
No need to jump on a plane to have a cool vacation. We have so much to choose from within a two-hour drive - amusement parks, local treasures, the Jersey Shore, and the Poconos. Pack (or download) some good books; we can help you choose with links to the best books of 2013. Enjoy 4th of July events and outdoor concerts. As always, we have a featured aboptable pet (a real cute kitty) and a perfectly funny barbeque from our resident comic, Marc Kaye.
This issue is sponsored by Sesame Place, where you can celebrate being a kid, or being a kid again! Visit on the Fourth of July and experience the park's ALL NEW "C... is for Celebrate!" fireworks show, set to Sesame Street music. Rock out with Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Cookie Monster and Count von Count as their music fills the air and the sky is covered with colorful bursts of brilliance. You'll get to see the sky painted red (and green and blue) from inside the park. This impressive display will certainly give you something to celebrate!

SUMMER FUN AT SESAME PLACE |
|
Sesame Place is open daily in July & August. One of the highlights is the Neighborhood Street Party Night Parade, when the parade route is illuminated and the floats immerse the audience in a light show set to a toe-tapping musical score. Park fun also includes Disney Jr.'s Choo Choo Soul concert July 15-16, Bert's Birthday Bash on July 26, and a Back-to-School Bash on August 24. Enjoy unlimited admission all season, including the park's concerts and events (even The Count's Halloween Spooktacular), when you purchase a Sesame Place Season Pass, now available for six payments starting at just $16.17.
